October 12-17, 2009

OESP volunteers conducted our fifth year of training in Colombia.  250 Fire and EMS students from Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Chile participated. Classes included Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) tracks as well as extrication classes from automobiles and file suppression drills. Life is precious and volunteers of OESP equip citizens around to world with the skills, supplies and equipment to respond to medical and fire related emergencies. Additionally, through OESP wells are drilled in remote villages that provide clean drinking water and increase the quality of life for many.

 

Since 2002 OESP has coordinated deliver of the following items to Cambodia, Colombia & Shirlanka through the generous contributions of fire districts, private emergency services, partners and contributors like you!
